I provide online and phone counselling from Eastleigh in Hampshire, and across the UK. If you have questions or would like to book a consultation, you can call, text or email me - whatever way feels comfortable for you.
Sometimes, it's hard to express yourself with words alone or move forward from struggles or concerns, despite talking about them. For this reason, I also offer a creative form of counselling, where you can use an interest or passion you have, or a creative outlet you're open to exploring, to help you work through your struggles. There are lots of ways to be creative in counselling - through movement, art, poetry, songs/playlists, photos, journaling, storytelling. And you don't need specific skills to engage in and benefit from the experience. Creative counselling can be calming and freeing. It can also be a helpful process for working through trauma and relieving the effects of mental health issues. Creative counselling can take place online (in session) or be used to help you reflect between sessions. If you'd prefer to work creatively together or are interested in exploring the process, please let me know.
As an experienced mental health counsellor and bereavement counsellor, I can support you on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, through life challenges such as:
Grief and bereavement (including baby loss through miscarriage and stillbirth)
Healing after domestic abuse
Depression and anxiety
Stress
Bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Being a carer and attending to your needs
Parenting issues
Relationship issues
Trauma (including BPD/EUPD and PTSD).
